Here are answers to some of the common questions and their answers about product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

How do I set the combination on my TSA lock?

Setting Up the TSA Combination Lock

The factory setting of the combination lock is pre-set to 0-0-0. To unlock your suitcase, press the two click switches on the left and the right side of the lock. If the lock is not opening, set the numbers to 0-0- 0 and try this step again.

To set your new combination, follow these steps:

  1. Set the digits of the lock to “0-0-0” or your last chosen combination
  2. Make sure the lock is open
  3. Pull the reset stick from A to B
  4. Set the 3 dials to your desired combination (e.g.: 4-5-6)
  5. Pull the reset stick from B to A

Voilà, your new TSA lock code is now set!

Always remember your last set lock combination to open the lock. If you want to change the combination, repeat step 3 to 5.

What should I do if the wheels of my luggage aren’t moving smoothly?

If the wheels are not moving smoothly, check for any debris, hair or dirt caught in the wheels. Clean them with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. For hard-to-remove debris, use a soft brush. Lubricating the wheel axles with a small amount of silicone-based lubricant may help.

How can I fix a jammed zipper?

If your zipper is jammed, gently tug the zipper pull while holding the fabric to avoid further damage. Apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or bee wax to the teeth of the zipper. If the zipper is misaligned, carefully guide it back into position and pull it slowly.

How do I clean my luggage?

Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down the exterior of the luggage. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they may damage the fabric or surface. For fabric interiors, vacuum gently or spot clean with a damp towel hanky if required. Always, let the luggage dry thoroughly before closing.

What should I do if the telescopic handle becomes stuck?

If the handle is stuck, ensure there is no debris or obstruction inside the handle’s mechanism. Gently pull and push the handle while pressing the release button. If the issue persists, check for any visible damage and contact customer service for further assistance.

How can I protect my luggage from scratches and damage?

Consider using a luggage cover to prevent scratches. The surface of the hard shell case can we wiped clean with a damp cloth after use. Storing the luggage in a cool, dry place helps maintain its appearance.

How should I prepare my luggage for airport security checks?
  • Most countries don’t allow locking your luggage unless it is TSA approved lock. Please check the guidelines for the country you are travelling to.
  • Remove any prohibited items such as sharp objects, liquids over the limit or battery packs from your check-in baggage.
  • Clearly label your luggage with your name and contact details, and use a sturdy luggage tag.
What can happen if my luggage exceeds the weight limit at check-in?
  • If your luggage exceeds the weight limit, you may have to pay for extra baggage weight, which can often be done at the check-in counter or online prior to your flight. It’s usually more expensive to pay at the airport than when you book your flight.
  • An oversize overweight luggage is mostly sent to OG (abbreviation for Operational Group) conveyor belt at the Airports for collection. If you are missing your oversize/overweight baggage (including strollers, car seats and baby cots), please check at OG conveyor belt.
What should I do if my luggage is lost or delayed?
  • If your luggage is lost or delayed, immediately report it to the airline’s baggage service desk. Keep your baggage claim ticket handy and provide a detailed description of your luggage. Most airlines will track your luggage and may offer compensation if it is lost or significantly delayed.

Do’s and Don’ts

Here is a quick reference list of Do’s and Don’ts for handling, packing, traveling, and maintaining the luggage.

Handle Use Instructions
  • Pick-up Handles: The pick-up handles are ergonomically designed for your convenience.
  • Operating the Telescopic Handle: To extend the telescopic handle, press the push button on the handle and pull it to the desired level of the three available levels. To adjust the length of the multi-stage, pull handle, pull out the bar all the way, then adjust the length while retracting the bar. The handle locks into its position with a click.
  • To retract the handle to a lower position or to lock it in its place, press the handle button and gently push down on the sliding tube to lock it into place.
  • Do not carry the suitcase using the retractable handle. Do not press the handle button while moving with the suitcase.
Packing Instructions
  • Use smaller pockets for documents, chargers, or toiletries; larger compartments for clothes and bulkier items.
  • Use X-belt secure clothes and prevent shifting during travel by tightening the X-belt across your packed items.
  • Organising Tips: Roll clothes to save space, pack heavier items at the bottom for weight balance, and use packing cubes to separate items for easier unpacking. Smaller items and undergarments can also be placed between the telescopic handle guide in the bottom compartment to give a flat surface for other clothes.
  • Exercise caution when placing fragile items such as glass bottles into the suitcase. Glass bottles may break inside the suitcase, or the contents may leak.
Storage and Maintenance
  • Store luggage in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to prevent material deterioration.
  • Avoid stacking heavy items on top of the suitcase to prevent structural damage. Check specific weight limits in the product manual.
  • Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. For the interior, vacuum and spot clean with a mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Regularly clean the wheels, avoid overstuffing zippers, and ensure the handle retracts smoothly after each use to prolong the life of your suitcase.
  • The suitcase is not fully waterproof. When travelling in a rain, watch carefully to prevent water leakage inside the suitcase.
  • Do not keep the suitcase near fire or any heating elements, it can lead to its deformation.
  • Do not use corrosive solvents to wipe the suitcase, as this may cause deformation of the outer form, change its colour and deterioration of the material.
  • Do not leave the case in areas with high levels of acidity and humidity; as this can cause damage to the lock the lock and other metal elements.
Safety Precautions
  • Always lift luggage by bending your knees to avoid straining your back.
  • Ensure the luggage is on a flat surface when using wheels; do not leave it on slopes to avoid rolling away of the luggage. Be cautious when pulling heavy luggage on uneven surfaces to avoid tipping or damage to the wheels.

Check-in Luggage

The permitted dimensions for check-in luggage for major airlines usually are:

  • Individual Luggage Dimensions (L+H+W): Each individual piece of checked baggage should not exceed 157 cm/62 in.
  • Combined Dimensions: Airlines that allow two check-in baggage mostly keep the limitation for the total combined dimensions of both pieces to not exceed 272 cm/107 in.
  • Weight: The allowance of check-in luggage is specific to the airline, ticket category and journey route. One should always check it on the ticket/booking pass. However, as a standard, each piece of checked baggage should not weight more than 32 kilos (70 lb) as this limit ensures the safety of airport workers who lift hundreds of bags daily.

The size limit for checked baggage can vary based on the travel class and airline. Airlines reserve the right to change policies at any time, so one should always check the official airline website for the up-to-date baggage restrictions for the airline you’re flying with.
